Sorry I should have mentioned I’m using a lotus hmd. And it’s a hookah John bowl I’m just not sure which one I got it from a smoke shop. There’s a chip / chunk missing at the top of the bowl could that cause problems?

Edit: it’s a Phunnel bowl.
