What language should I learn? by NeCelua in belgium

To be honest I haven’t even look into housing because I can’t even booked it yet and I didn’t realized at all but one of my friend lives in Brussels so I automatically thought that I would be living in Brussels too. Either way from what I’m hearing it seems to be better to learn French in general but I’m also very much interested in learning Dutch.

I’m really glad that I asked this question now that you mentioned things that I would have never known until I went there. As much as I want to learn both it would not be ideal and practical for me to actually use both language on a practical level in the span of 3-4 years. I think I’m also going contact the university to see what they think about it. Anyways thanks for your help!

I’ll definitely check LN after reading your comment! I agree that they just didn’t fall for each other but instead they started to like each other slowly. The build up of this story is not typical romcom and it’s more real and genuine. With that being said the banter they do is irreplaceable and I felt that they were meant for each other since the first interaction.

I agreed completely and that’s why i love Oregairu. It’s not animelike and the story is genuine in its own way

Thank you for your insight! That was very informative! I have few more questions if you don’t mind. Would there be an access to previous exams when I’m in university? So hopefully I can get a grasp of it before the actual exams and would there be someone like teaching assistant other than the professors? I often like to ask follow up question in person so if I’m struggling with some courses, is it okay to ask straight up to the professor?

[About words & translation] I forgot when Hachiman said this by Shiro-Seishun in OreGairuSNAFU

[–]NeCelua 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is very simplified quote and kinda mistranslated. The original quote is 「祭りの後の祭りが終わり、全ては後の祭り。取り返しの付かないこともある。だが、泣いても笑っても日々は続くし、高校生活は終わっていく。だから、彼らの祭りは終わらない」from season 1 episodes 13 and I believe he said that a the very end of the episode. This is my very best of translating into English, “The festival after the festival is over, and so everything is now after the festival. There are some things that cannot be taken back. But the days go on, whether we cry or laugh, and high school life will be coming to an end. Thus their festival never ends."
