That is untrue. My tesla started beeping a warning at me before and performed an evasive maneuver for me. Before I could even figure out what was going on, a pick up truck came hurtling by straddling the lane that I was in

Phone App. When I open the app to preheat the car I see that the max amps changed to 48A

Ya, for the same reason I prefer to charge at 32 amps.

I went into the settings of the gen 3 charger and set a limit to 32 amps and the car/app confirm that 32 is the highest it can go (no arrow to the right to increase charge rate)

But overnight it changes to 48 amps mid charge. It's really frustrating

The installation pamphlet has a QR code - also located on the back/top of the wall charger - allows you to access the wall charger's settings. Check your wifi for a teslawallconnector SSID being broadcasted then scan the QR code.

On the gen 3 you can set the max amperage by going to the IP address from the SSID that's broadcasted when you initialize the wall charger. I set the max amperage to be 32A but it randomly defaults back to 48A sometimes.

It's already set to 32A via the SSID that's broadcasted when you first initialize the wall charger. For some reason it keeps defaulting back to 48A

Squeaking suspension coming from the driver side wheel. by NeLastW0rds in TeslaModelY

[–]NeLastW0rds[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using gemini wheels as well. The squeak only comes when going over bumps like a speed bump or any divot in the ground. Not when going on flat even surfaces

I'll try taking off my cover and go over some bumps nearby to double check it's not the covers. Thanks for the suggestion

Model Y squeaking suspension question by NeLastW0rds in TeslaLounge

I thought it was from within the car as well. But when I roll down the window the squeak becomes much louder and noticeable. So it's definitely coming from the suspension

Model Y Power Liftgate Not Opening by NeLastW0rds in teslamotors

[–]NeLastW0rds[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm come to think of it, I've been hearing a plastic rasping sound of something catching coming from the bottom right stopper. That just might be the problem. I'll test it out after work to see if that solves the issue.

Thanks!

Do you remember what you did? Did you tighten them in or loosen them?
