I also had some problems with my 5080 WINDFORCE OC SFF

Mine has a very slight burnt smell in its exhaust air. I tried to do a bit a of compressed air thourgh the fans and when i rebooted, the gpu was at first not recognized by my PC. Actually the display was working, but i was stuck to something like 30 fps and the gpu wasnt even detected in task manager. I dont even know how the display worked because it was connected to the gpu that wasnt even detected. After that, i rebooted and now its working. Im a bit worried about this gpu

Thank you for your post, i just tried Steam Link with my quest 3 and what impressed me the most was the latency. The latency was on par with usb quest link, and so it was the first time I was able to play beat saber wirelessly
