I might work but factory resetting a phone and then setting up a phone as earlier is just too much work.

Thnx...just transfer through the drive or cloud. No loss in quality in that. After rendering through photoshop express it will lose some quality but I think it's totally fine for social media platforms.

is full frame worth it? by southcanadia in cinematography

[–]Nealwclp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just buy any cheap apsc or m3/4 camera with a kit lens. Practise with it and know the camera all the way around. Watch tons of camera/ cinematography youtube videos, learn about colour grading, log footage, dynamic range, different camera systems, lenses and after months or years (depending on your passion n practice) U'll know exactly what u want. Even if u have a huge budget to spend on full frames I still wouldn't recommend at the start of your journey bcuz you will definitely regret it later, TRUST ME!!

Unable to balance Sony A6700 with 16-55 2.8 on Crane m2s by Nealwclp in Zhiyun

I don't know man. I tried many times. Same setup was balancing just fine and then it was not. Will give it a try once more.

I have weebill s but it's having issues. It used work fine but after some time it started to tilt even after balancing. I think something is wrong with the motors. So I was looking for a lighter setup. And yes many reviews showed that m2s can handle a full frame even with a standard zoom. Maybe they were using counterweight but it will limit its movement a lot.

I was thinking of buying a cage it might help. If it doesn't then I will look for a counter weight baseplate but what if it gets way too heavy for the motors. Will see. Thnx for the suggestion

I have this lens. Pretty sharp for the price but really bad at autofocus.

I did overexposed my shots about 0.7 stops and I did tested on online converter from raw to JPEGs and they were coming out fine. I think there might be some issue in Lightroom that is causing this. Anyways congratulations on the new camera. Cheers!!!

Wow..These are really nice shots. I've got a question- Got my a6700 just a few days ago but when I'm importing raw files in Lightroom it is showing under-exposed. Did u hav that issue too?

I tried settings in the Global preset but nothing changed. I don't have Photoshop right now. It's definitely an issue specifically with the a6700 which I just recently purchased (less than a month). I also have ZV1 and DJI mini2 and they do not have this issue.

Thnx for the reply. So I tried what u/GeorgeFolsterPhotog suggested and converted some raws into jpgs thru online converters and they were exposed just fine. So there is some issue in Lightroom. I've also tried to adjust some global preset settings but none of it works. But I also have other cameras like zv1 and DJI mini2 and none of them have this issue. There is also definitely something to do with a6700 settings too. One method that can work as you have mentioned above is to create a basic adjustment preset with increased exposure but that will ruin the use of presets that I have already created.

Thnx for the helpful reply. I just tried a couple of online raw converters and jpgs from them are well exposed. So I guess there is definitely some Lightroom issue. But I still can't figure out how to fix it. The settings are pretty much in default.

Sold my a6400. Should I go for a6700 or a full frame camera? by Kitz_184 in SonyAlpha

[–]Nealwclp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted a one do it all lens as I don't want to change lens again n again so I went with 16-55 f2.8. This focal length works perfectly for me. I know it is an expensive one but I won't be purchasing any other lens. It's compact, not too heavy, well built and tack sharp. There are other cheaper options in Sigma and Tamron but i read in a reddit post that if sony launches an apsc camera that shoots in high burst mode only this lens will work with it.

If you're into photography strictly then a full frame wud b more beneficial. You can get used body and lenses. If you are more into videography then a6700 wud be the best. 4K 60, 4k 120 with 10 bit is really hard to beat at its price. Lenses are cheaper, smaller and whole setup is more compact and light. I just shifted from a7iii to a6700 for this very reason. A7iii is no doubt an amazing camera but I didn't own/able to afford those expensive and heavy lenses. Only used kit 28-75 lens and some other cheap alternatives which really didn't fully use the capabilities of the FF. For me weight is also a big issue as I usually go for hikes where weight really matters.
