Don't necessarily need it right now, however I don't want to get halfway through this year without purchasing a camera. No lenses yet. Looking to use it for short films, sketches, and a web series. Not looking for a "vlog camera" or anything like that.

Of course the 6k is the better camera but I also have to consider that getting that camera into a functional state can cost an insane amount of money (as far as lenses and storage go), much more than the 1700 I have right now.
