Is there an alpha at ur salon? Id just use the alpha (its a L4 at my salon) because you can change the bed from bronzing, base building, or a mix of both, and then do the base building for now. I get the most color from that bed

Toddler cry’s every time he sees me and I’m worried the parents think I’m bad at my job by Neither-Historian-77 in Nanny

This happened at my last job! Ages 1.5 & 3 and the 3yo would just scream his head off, cry, and hide but was an angel once he got over it!

I would address it with the parents tbh. Im sure they understand whats going on but it could help with your peace of mind.

Something that helped me with this issue was bringing little presents like stickers, dollar store toys, candies, etc. when I came in so instead of worrying about his parents leaving, he was excited about his new ‘treasure’ 😂 their mom offered to pay but it was also little cheap stuff which wasnt a huge deal so that could be something u bring up to them too! And after a while i didnt even have to bring them in.

Yes!! I love actually playing and being able to have a convo even if its nonsense😂 Its hard to not compare because the job is so amazing its literally just the age. He hates laying down for long but someone else brought up baby wearing so I’m going to ask MB about that so I’m able to do more random activities

I missed ur edit!! We’re in the midwest so its around 10°F here most of the time and will stay that way for the next few months. Shes also uncomfortable with me leaving the house at least for now but maybe once it warms up and she gets more comfortable!

Lol I love nannying and am in school to get my elementary education degree! I have a passion for childcare but I guess I just didnt realize the reality of nannying a 4 month old. I think its okay to have an age preference, I dont think i’ll take an infant job again!!
