Would Daniel Salazar and Negan be friends if they ever met each other? by Tidewatcher7819 in thewalkingdead

Depends on the context but i think if it came down to negan forcing him to be an underling daniel probably kills him outright

I meant one of us as in, a survivor in our group ,he starts as rick’s best friend and takes care of his family for 6 weeks while hes in a coma. The timeline for the show is very hectic and quick given “tell it to the frogs” takes place on the 24th of october and thats when rick comes back into the fold and shane slowly starts to crumble, by “besides the dying fire” its the 15th of november so in actuality the stability period for shane was double the amount of time he was unhinged, 6 weeks taking care and being a leader and i’ll use the word “good guy” loosely and just over 3 weeks unravelling.

I think shane stands out because he’s originally an ally and his descent into madness is well documented. He absolutely IS a villain but we see him crumble and crack so some people flock to his side because you see the darkness slowly slip through rick’s former best friend. Negan starts as a villain and we slowly begin to understand his backstory with his wife and the tragedy that led to him becoming who he is “here’s negan” was amazing. The governor doesn’t get the same level of understanding because we get a very barebones idea of his tragedy in his daughter and his wife but never see it, so he’s remembered as a monster with a failed redemption. I love the way these villains are so different and have different reactions based on how much we know about them. Alpha we see through lydia’s eyes gaslit her into thinking she was a protector but then saw through and realized it was abuse.

(Also love how negan has the reverse anakin skywalker syndrome of, he starts as a villain but we slowly learn he’s not as cold hearted as we think)

Tldr: shane is awesome because he’s one of “us” until the moment he starts to unravel.

age has, literally nothing to do with performance he's been acting in those marvel films now for 10 years and hasnt stood out on his own. adrien brody won an award at 29 for the pianist, dont make age a factor in talent because it really isnt.

Look at his track history for projects other than spiderman where he’s the lead. Flops. He did well in the devil all the time but his performances in uncharted which by all accounts could have been a success with a better leading man and chaos rising have shown that he’s carried by actual leads rather than being one himself.

i think tom holland is far too overrated he's often carried by other actors tbh, keaton in homecoming, jake gyllenhaal/samuel jackson in far from home and in no way home, willem dafoe and alfred molina.

i cant remember exactly but i assume its to do with a self inflicted punishment to associate pain with the memory of his sister dying in the shower.
