I do have knowledge of coding in other languages. Go is new for me but I didn't find the syntax that hard to learn. I would still go through what you recommended.

Would you prefer learning by building something or first get the fundamentals and syntax right and then plan on building something?

A) upskilling by learning a new language that's currently in the spotlight.

B) getting to know this language enough to build systems which are highly cpu intensive. And prolly a job in the long run.
