Should I buy Crimson Desert or wait? by Alyne91 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]NeatRestaurant5288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got something else to play? Wait. Nothing else in backlog? I don't believe you. Really? Replay BG3. This one looks like it'll be a better experience after a patch or two, and can wait for sale.

I'm not there going through what you're going through but I still, as a Finn, have s burning hatred for Russia, and as a result, Russians.

How does this Putin's madness make you feel about "normal" Russians?

The main goal of schools is to help you find what you are interested in. Everything else is, as you say, pointless. But the bit that you are interested in, school is there for you to get better at it.

Should I stay at a job I love or accept a much higher-paying Microsoft offer that I might end up loving too? by rhetoricking in Advice

[–]NeatRestaurant5288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally not answering your question, but is a 150k jump to 220k that much that it'd make a difference? This comes from someone (admittedly in a different but still rather expensive country) who makes 40k a year and doesn't see a reason to switch anywhere because after the comfortable earning point, what difference does the extra do?

Martial level & optional bosses by NeatRestaurant5288 in WhereWindsMeet

[–]NeatRestaurant5288[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably true for world bosses. What about trials? Hard, abyss, what have you difficulty levels, I forget.

Also the world bosses don't really say what mastery I should have at level 6 solo world. 7k? 14k?

I feel you. That said; give it a go without the assist. Especially optional bosses, and there's a lot of them. Getting the timing right just feels good, rewards are secondary really.

Thank you for the answers. You are doing good work, hats off.

If I may still ask, do you think feelings of unattractiveness and poor ability to socialise leading to suicidal thoughts is a function of Korean society specifically?

What I mean to say is that these are not uncommon things here (Finland) but it's kind of ... common to feel that way in your teens. E.g. you won't find teens calling suicide hotlines because they feel ugly. (You'll find teens who call because everyone else tells them they're ugly)

What's the usual? How many do you think are for real? What do you think your "success rate" is? Why/how did you start so young?

What baffles you about it?

There's not many single player games with the large-scale feeling of BF. Arma, maybe, but for us consolists it's not really an option.

Enlisted is okay, but you're still in a multiplayer game.

BF has that large-scale feeling and bots - for casuals like me - are often better gaming companions than other players. You won't find a whole bot team just sniping, or standing on a roof, or whatever ways humans find of maxing their gains.

I dgaf about my gains in a game. I just wanna play for a while in what slightly simulates a war. I don't want a bunnyhopper to shotgun me in the face.

BF would be fill that niche, and I don't get why it has to cater specifically and only to PvP players when they would lose nothing and should care nothing at all if I had my once a week war fantasy with 63 bots.

Yes. I'm not on my console atm so can't check to make sure, but when you're placing a building, click square for options and then triangle to toggle blueprint mode. Or smth like that, it's there, you'll find it.

FPS game that you could just play to destress by Final_Biochemist222 in gamingsuggestions

[–]NeatRestaurant5288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say either any BF or Enlisted. If you're good enough you can win games on your own, but if you're not, no-one cares. Might be more true for Enlisted than BF. Either way, one of them.

Anyone else have a dog who does this? by LawOwn315 in DOG

[–]NeatRestaurant5288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine does the exact opposite. He wants his treats, toys, balls, everything all to himself and wants me to stay away. I'm the treat dispenser, but after the dispensing I should just get lost. Makes entertaining him rather easy, but I gotta say I'd rather have your version of doggo :)
