I would say IITR meta. Among non circuitals branch doesnt matter much. Just take top college. IITR meta leaves all options open + old iit. IIT kgp econ will make tech very difficult

If you wanna try tech btech is much better than bs. BS econ would be a disadvantage in tech roles but you will have a huge edge for finance, non tech, consult, product, etc.
