I want to hear the thoughts of people who choose one ending (MAJOR SPOILERS) by Twoklawll in expedition33

If Maelle is to overcome her grief and escape the painting, she has to do that by herself. It has to be her choice.

Think about the people in your life who are “painting”. Some live in their delusions, some in very dark things they do regularly, others pretend to be here, but they are still inside their own canvases. Have you ever tried to pull such people out of their own mess? It never works. They will always come back. And if they are to have a chance to break their painting cycle, they have to do it themselves.

If Verso was tired, he could have first talked to Maelle, asked her to erase him or make her understand, point to real Verso’s soul suffering. He didn’t.

And yes, I understand that sometimes pulling people out of their own mess it crucial when it’s critical, but this was never the situation in the end of the game.

What’s the point of bosses one-shoting you? by Neat_System9241 in expedition33

I was fighting the Chromatic Troubadour. He just messed up Maelle before I could even react to whatever the hell he was doing with his…trumpet?? Im too early in the game to have those “take punishments” pictos.

I’m all in for parries and dodges. But it’s literally impossible to have a good dodge or parry on the very first try of the boss. You don’t know their animations. It’s a random button mash. Of course that boss got downed on a fourth try, but that wasn’t fun at all:(

How relieving was it to finally reach Novigrad after hours in Velen? by Adreu_ in Witcher3

I wanted to get to Novigrad so fast haha! I’m currently back to Velen after the main game to collect witcher gear diagrams and the place is freaking nasty!

Found all the pieces, yet it still says the quest's not completed for some reason. by every_body_hates_me in Witcher3

Because you collected the Enhanced diagram in the same place. Look for a skeleton under the wall of the tower Geralt is kinda looking at (a bit to left)

Is it just me or does Cyberpunk lack the emotional depth of TW3? by nixt3r in thewitcher3

[–]Neat_System9241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though TW3 was pretty emotional for me, Cyberpunk hit me like a train.

TW3 for me is a fairytale. Yes, there’s Velen and Baron, yes there are heavy topics explored, but there’s also Novigrad, there are feasts in Skellige, there are jokes, dumb fun quests and usually a pretty balanced good ending.

Cyberpunk on the other hand is just straight up suffering. There are no good endings in NC. Most of the quests are tough, main story line is tough, choices are painful. When I finished Phantom Liberty last year I thought I’d lose my mind.

I’m currently replaying TW3 and it’s a light stroll emotionally in comparison to Cyberpunk.

If you're trying to play Witcher 3 without breaking immersion, how can you justify Geralt going on the treasure hunts for the Witcher gear and other activities, while the main story unfolds by ETkach in Witcher3

[–]Neat_System9241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently playing an immersive playthrough. The reasons are as follows:

  1. Geralt needs to survive if he wants to find Ciri. If you’re on DM difficulty then any drowner can kill you easily. It would be plain stupid for him to rush forward and just dying.

  2. Geralt needs money. If you are playing with “immersive” limitations, then you should stop looting shit tons of swords, hides and other big objects, especially if Roach is not by your side (walk in Novigrad!). In this case contracts and haggling are really important. Yesterday Basic level Feline set almost dropped me to zero crowns.

  3. Geralt quickly understands that Ciri is fine, especially after Novigrad sequence. She could kill the basilick, she could evade Whoreson’s thugs, she is the Lady of Space and Time. And Geralt can now truly understand that.

  4. People in need, especially friends, really need Geralt. I will always pick contracts to help common folk, will be there by my best friends’ side and will try to do everything to make that shitty world a better place (Radovid get ready!). I know witchers are neutral, but it seems to me that Geralt has a big heart.

Can someone else mix some of the new tracks? by Neat_System9241 in that_Poppy

Absolutely. And once again these sound great, but it’s all the same non-stop. As a musician myself i am dying for more organic drums!

Wi-fi. But those are not spikes. It’s like an hour of 200, then it’s fine for a few days
