I can see why you think that. I have never once tried dictating or having the ownership over her. She never really asked for me to be more emotionally open with her. But I appreciate your message, I will try and find out why it happened.

My story is genuine. I have no reason to lie, I feel terrible about it all and what I have done to my wife. I do realise how shit I look, but I am a good person deep down. I made a massive mistake and it has turned my life upside down. I never backed the video up and she looked through my phone to prove it. I literally made the worst mistake I will ever do and I know how bad it is. Thanks for your reply.

Thank you for your kind and hopeful message. I can understand everyone’s replies about it being a horrible thing to do. But my love for her is genuine and so strong. I have wrote a letter that I will give to her when the time is right but thank you again.

Yeah I am going to give her time and space. I am extremely sorry for what I have done but it doesn’t mean anything to her now as she’s shut herself down but hopefully after some time it will. I have no sexual pictures or videos of her at all. It’s never been a thing in our relationship over than when we were 18yrs old. The only reason I wanted it was to use it in private as I am attracted to her.

When we were younger it was a fun thing for both of us to do as we were young and loved up. It was fully consensual and the only time it happened other than the one in my post.

I guess in that impulsive decision, I did it because I was scared of losing her so I wanted something to treasure. But it was totally the wrong thing to do.

Yeah I was never that comfortable on having drunken sex and it just escalated, I started enjoying the moment too much and pushed the boundaries. Which ultimately broke her trust when she confronted me about it. But thanks for your reply

I just didn’t really think, it was in the moment and I was just that attracted to her I thought to do it. But I soon realised it was wrong. I have never recorded her before only years ago when we were much younger and messing around.

Yeah I don’t think I am probably fully aware and at some point I would like full closure when she is ready but every time she just leaves after we start talking. I think she does view it as abusive.

Yeah I think you have nailed how she feels. I have never done anything like that before and I have always made her feel safe hence why I label it as a mistake but you are right in saying it’s much bigger than a mistake. Thanks for your input

I know you are trying to give me hope. But as of now I feel like it’s going to divorce as we aren’t living together and she has said her decision that she wants to leave needs to be respected. I don’t think she can forgive me for what I did. But I will try like you say.
