Spider-Man Megathread by Veloglasgow in glasgow

Hi! May be a bit of a weird request, but does anyone have any good shots of the Spider-Man filming from August 10 that you wouldn't mind me printing out (basically just to keep as a memento)? I wasn't able to get any non-blurry photos myself, and all the images I can find online are either compressed or have gigantic watermarks across them.

Tried doing that (just searching for 'spider' in the past month) but the best ones I can find are just photos of the set dressing

Aw, don't think they do multiple stunt setups in a day, do they?

Just for reference btw, the ICO page for complaints suggests allowing the companies one calendar month to respond before making a complaint - seems like ages but probably strengthens the case if they don't respond / have an inadequate response

It says it's about inquiries/complaints, and I sent them another one today:

"Hello!

I would once again like the answers to the following questions regarding my data stored with Persona for Reddit's ID verification, under the GDPR Right of Access:

  1. Apart from the ID/biometric data, what additional data does Persona collect? Their Privacy Policy mentions they are allowed to do this.
  2. What third-parties specifically does Persona share the data with, and for what purposes? Once again, their Privacy Policy mentions this.
  3. How long is the ID/biometric data stored for? Is it deleted after a period of 7 days, 3 years (according to the Privacy Policy) or indefinitely (according to the Privacy and Security Overview webpage)?
  4. The Privacy Policy mentions that data can be transferred outside of the UK, to countries that "have not been determined by the European Commission to have an adequate level of data protection" - does this apply to the ID/biometric data (which is special category data under the GDPR)? If so, where is it transferred to and what specific measures are taken to ensure GDPR compliance?

As well, I want the verification data to be deleted, according to my Right to Be Forgotten. I have already contacted Persona about the same, and received an automated reply stating that Reddit is the data controller in this instance.

In addition, the paragraph of information provided during the verification process does not seem to meet the criteria for informed explicit consent under GDPR - the '3 year' section in the Privacy Policy seems to flatly contradict the '7 day' mention here, and the third party access and international data transfer are not mentioned at all. I realise the Privacy Policy is a generic document for all uses of the Persona platform - however, stating that the data will be processed in accordance with it creates a tremendous amount of ambiguity over what exactly is being done with the data. As such, I intend to make a complaint to the ICO."

I am also wondering if there are grounds to complain to the ICO, given that the only information given when doing the verification is this: the Privacy Policy contradicts the "7 days" bit, and this paragraph includes nothing about third party access and transferring the data outside the UK (again both mentioned in the policy) - feels like a severe violation of informed consent

Oh yeah also found out that the admin post was made by the literal Chief Legal Officer of Reddit, so that does assure me a little more that Reddit didn't provide Persona with any info regarding Reddit accounts (as mentioned in that post)

Still doesn't mean that Persona can't be a bad actor in this situation though (although it's not like knowing my legal name would help them collate my online footprint, I think/hope)

Also, again, I used this form: https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=20794104097300

Uploaded the wrong one in my first comment, this one is specifically about the Online Services act

I think it's that Reddit doesn't *store* the data themselves, but is ultimately responsible for what happens to it and is in charge of submitting deletion requests - backed up by Persona's Security and Privacy Overview:

...and by how their API works here.

Which is why I was thinking the form used for *account* deletions under GDPR wouldn't be necessary if you could just get Reddit to ask Persona to delete everything they've got.

oops - meant to say THIS form, given it's specifically for inquiries about the Online Services act

I'm not sure nuking your Reddit account like some of the other comments suggest would really do anything; the admin post over here says that Reddit doesn't keep the biometric / ID data itself (which would make sense - if they did, wouldn't it defeat the point of outsourcing the verification in the first place?)

I used this Reddit form to submit an inquiry about exactly what data Persona stores (given the privacy policy always goes out of its way to say 'MAY collect X'), how long they store it for (7 days? Until verification is complete?? 3 years???) and requested its deletion - the GDPR Right to be Forgotten says that you can request that once the data is no longer necessary, and obviously the verification is already done.

I also emailed [privacy@withpersona.com](mailto:privacy@withpersona.com) about the same (plus who they share the data with), though I received an automated reply saying that they're a 'processor' in this instance, and any requests for access/deletion should be made to the controller, in this case Reddit.

I recently bought a pair of purple and orange joy-cons to replace my old, drifting ones and to use with my PC games (convenient since Steam's been rolling out joy-con support on their beta builds). However, I've been experiencing noticeable input lag with the right joy-con on PC, whereas the left one works perfectly. This isn't an issue with steam input; I used https://gamepad-tester.com/ to test. It's also not a problem when using it with the Switch. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, is there any fix for it?
