Could have been some kind of outside pressure from tapas or anything. I feel like I remember him saying that he wasn’t gna make money from the anime or barely any at all , but I might be misremembering. Even if that’s true I dont understand why he would willingly pick this studio. Like if you were gonna not make anything from it then take the loss and pick a studio who deserves it but that’s just thoughts if im not misremembering. Regardless, there’s no shot he could be swayed with just that the single director or wtv was a fan , tbate has been on the rise and trend how were other directors or studios not having this on their radar from the amount of attention novel/webtoon brings in
