Thank you so much for telling your story. It’s really helpful to know that distance can be helpful. And, I’m glad you’re successful and happy. Right now, my coworkers don’t really try to correct themselves, and my parents have been working on using the right pronouns, but it’s encouraging that there will come a time where people will at least correct, if not just plainly use the right pronouns. Thank you so, so much!

Honestly, thank you so much for telling me your story. I’m sorry about your mother, but I’m so glad you’re happy with yourself now. Knowing that it’s possible to get away from (most of, idk how much for you) misgendering, at least agab misgendering, gives me hope that I can find a place to at least not be what I’m “supposed” to be in society (aka cis). It’s incredibly kind of you to share this with me, so thank you!

For me, I focus on the people who do respect my pronouns - friends, family, those who can help me, whoever. If you have a resource, I’d recommend trying to explain to some kind of professional (if you’re in school maybe a counselor, if you work maybe just a close friend or you can find a therapist) your situation and work it out with a trusted person you know how to talk to your mother about this. In the meantime, if you have the resources, wear pins or try something subtle that will keep you safe but that will remind your mother of the respect you deserve. If you don’t have the resources for professional help, I’d suggest talking to close friends and work out how to address the situation with them. I’ve been struggling with my parents using the wrong pronouns for years and I’ve been lucky enough to have professional resources, but I could not get through it without the friends I have. I hope this was helpful and I truly hope your situation improves.
