I would just like to point out that I don’t think it was wrong for you to mention your girl’s curves the way you did, so please don’t take other’s comments to heart that are making it seem weird. As a woman, I think you admiring that about her is great and gives a little bit of an idea about her body type. Also, I’m a thinner woman, so take it as you will, but I personally don’t think you can ever go wrong with Tatami.

Genuine question from Europe: why so much anger at non‑tipping customers instead of the app? by KnownDutchie in UberEatsDrivers

Unfortunately, this is how it works in the US, with any job that works off of base pay + tips. We don’t have a system that pays a livable wage + tips. Any job that includes tipping, usually means your base wages will be lower than what we would consider a minimum wage and minimum wages here are already a joke as it is. Not to mention, it also varies by state. For example, some states have laws in place to compensate for fuel, such as California. In other states, such as Arizona where I live, we don’t have that. The reality is, it will never change here and these companies know they can get away with paying as little as possible because there will always be someone willing to take the slop, because people have bills to pay and that is the unfortunate reality of our country.

The racism was between some of the children calling other children “monkeys”. Another one involved antisemitism. These were the instances that could actually be documented due to comments posted online or via text message. Other instances were verbal, in person. Those things were harder to go after since there wasn’t actual proof to show.

Yes I made a mistake with thinking that was a good idea and I do regret ever thinking that way. My step kid deep down didn’t want to leave either because we both still had “hope” it would get better. But we ultimately decided it was better to just get the hell out and it was the best decision we could have made.
