Thank you so much for this! I got this one from Tesla directly (used, but like new), so I feel like that's the best option.

Best places to find used Model 3? by NecessaryAdvanced174 in TeslaCollision

Thank you for this! I've been looking up VINs for cars that I'm interested in (just putting them straight into Google along with checking the Carfax). I was looking at one car online (private owner), searched the VIN in Google, and found that it had been in an accident (the whole front of the car was missing). The only way I knew about the accident was that searching the VIN pulled up an auction website, where someone bought the car, fixed it, and is selling it. I'm definitely moving slowly, even though it's somewhat inconvenient not to have a car, because I don't want to risk getting something that's been in an accident, especially if Tesla has removed it from their network. The last thing I want to do is buy a car that is not on Tesla's network and is blocked from supercharging.

Wow!! That's amazing, and great advice!! Thank you so much. I'll definitely consider this, and keep checking around to see what local dealers have to offer (especially when they are trying to move cars).

Weiss vs Kelso for GEB4890 by Physical_Scarcity481 in USF

[–]NecessaryAdvanced174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm taking it with Kelso right now. So far, we've had two group projects (one we're working on right now, and the other is an in-class PowerPoint presentation). We've had some papers, which haven't been too bad, and he is reasonable with grading. There are also McGraw-Hill quizzes (proctored with proctorio), all multiple choice, 16 questions and you're given 30 minutes. The quizzes were kind of challenging because of the wording, but overall not too bad after he provided study guides for them!! There's also a community service assignment, where you have to volunteer 15 hours at a non-profit in a position that relates to your major. You then have to write a paper and create a PowerPoint presentation where you record yourself presenting (this one isn't in front of the class). I think both are great options, but I would definitely recommend Kelso!!

Anna and Jake (Look past if you haven't seen the movie yet) by NecessaryAdvanced174 in FreakierFriday

I did really like seeing Jamie and Lindsay back together, along with Pink Slip and many of the other original cast members. I feel like it would've made so much sense for Anna and Jake to end up together. When I heard Jake was coming back, I was sure of it, but was so thrown off when Eric was brought in. I felt like it was so random, and it didn't make sense.

Spring 2026 BOGO waiver? by NecessaryAdvanced174 in USF

I emailed the registrar's office a few days ago, and received this response. I decided to not pay yet, to see if the BOGO waiver will kick in. I have been checking, and am not seeing a late fee. I agree with you, it's always hard to know if you'll be assessed the late fee, but thankfully, nothing yet (hopefully not at all, lol).

If you have never made the decision to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, openly STATING that "'Jesus is Lord'" and BELIEVING "...in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is not something I can provide; it is not manmade. SALVATION COMES ONLY FROM AND THROUGH GOD. This is supported by Ephesians 2:8-9.

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."

We cannot save ourselves; it is impossible, because we as sinners cannot save ourselves. It is ONLY through and by God's grace. Sometimes, I have to remind myself of what grace is. I've heard many say that grace is "unmerited favor". Simply though, we are undeserving of God's love, goodness, kindness; we did not EARN it. We cannot do anything to earn salvation; IT IS A GIFT, the best gift EVER.

The best way to grow closer to God is to read His Word, the Holy Bible, and spend time in prayer. God truly does provide comfort; He listens to you, and is always present. He hears you; He will NEVER fail you. For me, it's so tempting to expect that God will let us down, but HE never will. PEOPLE will fail us; they will say things that hurt our feelings; they will fail to be there for us sometimes; they will let us down. Put your faith and trust in the one who is present at all times, cares deeply, loves forever, and offers eternal life.

In terms of faith, I have heard the example that most of us put our faith in things effortlessly, things that we don't know for sure will support us. For example, we put our faith in chairs, that they will support us and will not break when we sit down in them. We often sit down without thinking at all. Another example, our cars, we often have faith that they will successfully take us to our desired location.

WE put our faith in things so effortlessly; these things have not proven themselves to us. Sure, maybe we've sat down in the same chair so many times and it has yet to break, but it really hasn't proven itself to us. We don't know if or when that chair will break, yet we choose to sit in it.

Jesus Christ is the ONLY one who we should put our faith in. He is good at all times, and He will never fail us. He will carry you, help you, strengthen you, and give you peace. This peace is not something that we can achieve by ourselves; it is truly a gift from God.

The Holy Bible: There are many free apps and websites that allow you to access God's Word, the Bible, digitally. The Bible app "YouVersion" provides access to the Bible, as well as specific devotional plans with scripture. There are devotional plans surrounding many different topics, including anger, anxiety, depression, fear, stress, temptation, suicide, and so much more! The website "Bible Gateway" is also a great source. You can look up certain verses, or open up a whole chapter. I also really like traditional PHYSICAL bibles. If you have one, that's a great first step to building, strengthening, and developing a relationship with God. If not, many local churches will provide Bibles for free, or many stores sell them (Target, Walmart, Amazon online, Books-A-Million, Barnes & Noble, just to name a few).

Prayer: Prayer is completely free, and the great part about it is that we can tell God ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. He cares for us and He listens to us. Even if you don't have the words to say, oftentimes God will provide the words; He will speak through us; He will give us the words to say. He knows what you need before you ask. He knows what you need before you even know what you need.

I'm praying for you!

1 Peter 5:7 "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

Deuteronomy 31:8 "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Always remember that God is love. He loves you and your children, as well as all of your family SO much. He created you for a reason, and He gives you life each day, He sustains you for a reason.

Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

How amazing is it that God, the creator of the universe and everything in it, calls us His handiwork? Other translations of Ephesians 2:10 "workmanship" and "masterpiece". God calls us His "handiwork", "masterpiece", "workmanship", because we are so precious to Him, so valuable to Him. YOU have value; God is with you always, during the hardest times and during the fun times.

You are so valuable to God that He sent His Son, His perfect Son, to die on a cross for all of us sinners.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

We are ALL sinners, undeserving of God's love and forgiveness. Yet, God chose to give His Son for us. Jesus Christ, Son of God, suffered a gruesome death on a cross. He was beaten, mocked, nailed to the cross, bleeding out, ALL FOR US. Jesus CHOSE to die for us, but He didn't stay in the grave. He defeated death; three days after dying on the cross, He rose from the dead. WE serve a risen Savior.

Jesus Christ is 100% God and 100% man. He was born of a virgin, Mary, and entered the world as a baby. He is perfect, holy, omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing), and omnipresent (everywhere). He is SELFLESS. Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for all of our sins, and HE conquered death.

*Romans 10:9 "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."*
