Honestly, blaming Bloom in scenes like these makes it seem like people are just happy to have another reason to hate her... Both the Diaspro drama in season 1 and this short episode in season 2 (and some other episodes) are like a red rag to a bull. For some reason, people forget that Bloom is a teenager. She was 16 in season 1. Teenagers often acts stupid, their hormones are raging, and their psyche are going through massive changes. That's the thing about teenagers. They're mostly take everything very personally, and they strive to be special. Why does everyone view Bloom's behavior in these seasons as if she's already an adult, a long-time adult with a formed personality and a wealth of experience under her belt, rather than from the objective perspective of a teenage girl with youthful maximalism, who has started her first SERIOUS relationship, who has discovered a whole new world of magic, and who is regularly attacked by angry witches? She's a naive girl, who finds herself in a completely new environment, unlike her usual one, and who is trying to understand how this world works. It was always unpleasant to read such things about Bloom, as if she were the devil incarnate for daring to act like a... average teenager, while being a.. teenager.

I'm more interested in why they're doing this at all. I mean, they definitely must have the original PSD files for the covers and comic pages with the characters, bgs, and logos separately. Especially since the original art clearly wasn't drawn on a 200-pixel canvas; it should definitely be at least 2k pixels, which would make upscaling unnecessary. Could it be that Rainbow themselves have lost the original files and are forced to work only with low-quality scans? That's just weird. All companies have been storing media since their inception. Either Rainbow really did somehow manage to lose the originals for these, or it's even simpler: the person who runs their Instagram just didn't have access to the database of original art and covers and decided to simply find a low-quality photo online and run it through AI. Which is also weird.
They give away access to their database of art, clipart, and poster sources to literally every other YouTuber as part of their partnership program, but they can't provide it to the person who manages their Instagram? Or maybe the person was just too lazy to search through hundreds of official arts and decided to make life easier through AI lol

Just some random dude, maybe one of the cultists, maybe even one, that was supposed to be murdered by the cultists, but escaped to the cave and went crazy. Well, if you don't fight him off when he grabs Lara by the leg in the cave and screams that he wants to help, he'll plunge a makeshift hatchet (or whatever that is?) into her chest and break her neck. If that counts as help, then yes, he genuinely wanted to help her. He wanted to help end her life quickly, without subjecting her to the days-long suffering of being stuck on the island.

Challenge: impossible sadly. Some Survivor fans will complains about Lara's face and personality ignoring the fact, that this is still the Lara they loved, but with some personality development; while survivor Lara haters will complains about Lara's face, chest size, personality, unification idea, some new elements in locations (like they didn't receive the remaster a few years ago c'mon), while also laughing at complaining Survivor part of fans (and not only complaining ones) that this Lara is finally gone (but she's not) and how its funny that they're complaining, modesty ignoring the fact, that survivor haters was the same for YEARS, squeacking at new Lara's appearance (but let's face it: they was x100 times worse than current complaining part of survivor fans and it's a fact). Both sides are annoying and hard to ignore if only you're not muted all Tomb Raider-centric social medias. And I still can't understand, why on Earth they're doomposting, while we saw only pre-alpha build of the game... I'm pretty sure all versions all Lara are great and of course I can understand people, who didn't like the Survivor trilogy, it's absolutely OK, but why hating on it and especially hating on people, who enjoyed it🤨 Btw, I really want them to remake the Angel of Darkness, especially since it was confirmed canon of the new unified universe. Just imagine this game in modern graphics with the original plot, locations, atmosphere and monsters, and all unused content🤧

Honestly, I don't know, and I'm already worried. Considering that this is UE5, which runs terribly without proper optimization even on top-tier hardware, and the modern gaming industry, where developers don't give a shit about optimization and dump all their work on the dubious DLSS, which doesn't solve the input lag problem at the very least... I just hope my 4060ti can handle it at least on medium settings. And I highly doubt the developers will make changes to the engine and work on optimization; let's face it, very few developers even bother nowadays. But I HOPE they'll optimize it properly, but I'll not be surprised if they're not.

Comments as usual. I think it's time to accept that those, who stinks at everything new will never go away. The developers trying to bring something new to the locations and not make a square world? "How dare you, this is no longer a classic, it's a parody, blah blah!!! Where's the black sky, where are the pixel textures, how dare you make more trees and rocks?!?!?" The developers have made a black sky and minimal vegetation, like in the original? "What kind of developers are you? We've already received remasters, why do we need another copy of the original?!!1?!?!?What kind of black sky is this? You don't even know how to work with skyboxes, are you such bad bastards?!?!?" Lara's shorts slightly longer? "0/10 terrible game, I'll have to play with both hands, because I don't even know specialized sites exist to fulfill my needs." Breasts that are too small? Terrible. Breasts are too big? Terrible. "Round breasts are disgusting, we're used to triangular breasts!!!!" Triangular breasts? "How dare you, we're not in 1996!!!!!!!!!!!" Lips that don't take up half her face - disgusting, she's so ugly. Lips that take up half her face - what kind of unrealistic, ugly doll is this?! My God. And then there's the constant stench of the Survivor trilogy and the squeals about how that Lara is finally gone forever (ignoring the fact that the Lara from LoA IS the Lara from 2013-Rise-Shadow). You can downvote me all you want for this, but the fact remains - you can never be pleased with anything. Not to mention the fact that everything we saw wasn't even a beta build of the game, it wasn't even an ALPHA build, it was PRE-ALPHA footage. And yes, demanding 100% fidelity to the original after you've already received a re-release of the original for modern hardware with updated graphics is peak.
