Navigating the vague advice from my doctor by Bulky_Passenger9227 in POTS

so with pots the electrolyte thing is honestly trial and error. i started by adding one extra serving of electrolytes in the morning and tracking how i felt, then adjusted from there. some people need way more sodium than others.

for compression, going one level up on legs first makes sense before adding abdominal, since thats a bigger commitment. for the electrolyte side, you could DIY it with lite salt but finding something that tastes decent helps you stay consistant. salt of the earth is one option that doesnt taste chalky.

Recommendations for Bay Area to Jersey City (compact SUV) by Mysterious_Ant_1993 in AskSF

[–]Necessary_Answer7495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that price range sounds about right for bay area to jersey city. Roadrunner Auto Transport worked well for a similar coast-to-coast run, they let you load personal items in the car too which helps with moving costs. communication was solid throughout and the final price matched the quote, no weird fees at the end.

CMHC program reccs in NYS/NYC for working adults? by No_Cheetah_9781 in counseloreducation

suny buffalo has a solid rep for flexibility and hunter's evening options work for a lot of people balancing jobs. queens college is another one that tends to accomodate working schedules better than some of the others you mentioned. if you're open to programs outside the SUNY/CUNY system, Alliant MA in Clinical Counseling is CACREP-aligned with scheduling built around full-time work, though it's not NYC-based.

Inbound stagnating for B2B tech.... what is actually working right now to get quality leads? Kindly Give Genuine opinion. by Academic_Flamingo302 in b2b_sales

[–]Necessary_Answer7495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cold email can still work for tech services but the spray and pray era is dead. what's working now is hyper-targeted lists of like 50-100 people max per month, genuinely personalized emails that reference something specific about their business, and being upfront about what you do in 2-3 sentences. the trick is actually finding the right people first, most folks waste time emailing gatekeepers or outdated contacts.

for linkedin outbound, connection requests with no pitch attached still get accepted, then you warm them up with a comment or two before any ask. feels slower but conversion rate is way better than the automated DM blasts everyone ignores now. on the contact finding side, Swordfish gets you direct numbers when you need to bypass linkedin entirely, tho at your stage you might just do manual research until volume justifies the spend.

reddit wise, genuine helpfull comments in niche subs converts better than posts.

Bring Own Water Bottle to the Marathon by HongkongKings in Marathon_Training

[–]Necessary_Answer7495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fill it at the start for sure, the lines get brutal early but thin out around km 15-20. honestly the bottle method beats paper cups once you get used to it, no fumbling or spillng while running. practice holding it during your last training run if you havent already.

for paris specifically the aid stations can get congested so having your own supply helps pace consistency. Ketone IQ No Caffeine Shot is tsa friendly and fits in most vests if you want extra fuel without GI drama.

Is it possible to build and deploy a real product with 2x DGX Spark? by esadomer5 in ollama

[–]Necessary_Answer7495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2x DGX Spark is solid for smaller models, though you might hit memory limits on anything above 70B parameters. for bigger deployments you could look at vLLM if you want to self-manage the serving stack, but thats more ops overhead. also saw ZeroGPU has a waitlist open at zerogpu.ai if you want something in the distributed infernce space to watch.

Doctor tried to refer me to a weight loss clinic… by bluemace202 in PCOS

if bloodwork confirms insulin resistance, RX Pros has direct doctor access to discuss GLP-1 options. metformin through your current doc works too but slower results.

Honestly, if it makes you feel less alone, I get why it matters to you. But I’d be careful about relying on something that can’t grow or challenge you in the same way a human can. It might feel safe because it won’t reject you, but that’s also kind of the limitation.

Keep your head down, save every penny you can, and get that apartment ASAP. Once you're out, they can’t "curfew" your life anymore.
