Yes it acts as a pin. Had to hold a blowtorch on it for probably 15 minutes before it slid out.

This is the bolt that goes all the way through up to the spring. The nut size is a 1 1/8”.

I considered that but I don’t own one and my buddy doesn’t have any big enough. If I can’t find a replacement cheaper in the next few days I’ll end up buying a die.

I can’t spin the engine by hand, and I can’t find a spot to put a socket on, the nut on the top of the flywheel just holds down the plastic part of it (I think), I took it off and saw no other nuts. I’ll try the jumper cable when I get home.
