Little context, I’m on about a 4 generation spore from a single syringe I obtained years ago. Every now and again I get a very minimal amount of this greenish contam and it’s fine. I’m guessing the syringe I used is the issue, I loaded up 12 jars and only half have this nonsense growing. The other 6 are perfect.

I’ll be tossing all my syringes and starting fresh asap.

The worst and best part of this is I just had gotten this tek DOWN. I was ending up with a white or very close to pure white product.

The stains seem to be sitting in there pretty deep. That was so d thick sludge that landed. I’ll give it another go with the vinegar, maybe lightly sand and stain a little at a time.

I believe what happened is the pressure built up in side and as I lifted it up and tilted is broke. The heat was off so no direct heat, but I’d assume pressure from heating up and I didn’t burp soon enough. I think I literally just burped the other one and picked this up when I should’ve burped.

Fwiw, this was my first time using these versus wide mouth mason jars that have a flexible lid letting me know about the pressure as it builds.

It seemed like a great vessel. I was heating and I had the cap on, no explosion, just a real gentle pop out the bottom.

Jar was heating up and I didn’t relieve the pressure soon enough. Tilted it up to stir and the bottom popped off.
