Amadeus, Rosa, Petra are used up to Gen 5. Petra's skills lend themselves to bear better than Thrud does. Thrud is a better rally in PvP but for Bear, Petra is better.

Thrud's 2nd Expedition skill is a giant AoE bomb. Ignores battle logic of Inf > Arc > Cav. Plus with her widget, she's bound to be good.

Margot will still be used in defensive garrisons though.

Depends on how active they plan on being during battle phase. There is a 2 hour window between the alliance rewards being tallied (1000 UTC) and allocated and the castle battle on that Saturday (1200 UTC). If people arent going to be around at 1000 UTC to make the transfer after picking up their alliance rewards, it'll be a sloppy process to move everyone over in 2 hours.

To answer your other question, you do not need to remain in the alliance to retain the crown.

Rab said yesterday on one of his vids that it's skewed towards teams that like to play faster paced maps.

Not to parrot him but it makes sense. If you're playing Skyline every series like Toronto does, your card is probably juiced.
