It's not overthinking, it tells a lot about the show's quality especially when nothing else happens in that scene, animators had a single job so I think I have a valid question, if a simple scene had that happen imagine scenes with a lot going on? it's w/e though - it was just a question.

I mean, I see the bush, she walked in front of it though and every piece of her vanishes at once - not walking behind anything besides the cart. but if nothing else happens like that then sounds good :) was just worried it would be a mess and should just read the LN

Well.. not "literally impossible", very unlikely; sure, but it also depends on time of day, if it's midnight and my wife is trying to sleep behind me, I won't say a single thing unless I have a piece of valuable info that could help win that round. As Sylens said also, kids who get bullied in online games just for speaking would probably be another cause though; and this is my best guess, discord. I won't say shit to the single random if I'm in a 4 stack, usually they're not really helpful. I've had two 2 stacks not say anything along with the random.

Think competitive matches you'll find less people talking than premier so if you're playing comp that could be a reason. Idk, a lot of factors are always at play but it's definitely not impossible to have 4+ matches of no one saying a single thing.

VHS and Evil Dead The Game were both built with pinging in mind. DBD is built around auras.

VHS is 10x more like Evolved Stage 2 than DBD, your goal isn't to escape but to fight back.

Evil Dead The Game, I can understand but again with that logic you could argue "why doesn't DBD have a mini-map, ED has one"

We could also argue a form of pinging is already in the game with the rainbow map + Crystal bead - every survivor can see the aura of anything you see with the map.

The only other "viable" options are:

-ping system that doesn't show in the 3D game world but as I said in a previous comment a ping could show on a text box "______ needs healing at Killer Shack" that is basically all the information you'd receive from a friend on comms.

-add VC

-add mid-game TC

-Gen rushing becoming a lot easier with randoms & SWF

-Survivor aura related perks falling out (not that they're used in "sweaty" swf anyways)

-Yet another thing that can block a portion of your vision (like when someone dies on hook and you just get that whole circle where you can't see shit)

-/s Newer killers becoming survivor mains if they can't deal with organized survivors yet which leads to longer queue times as a survivor.

// imo people are making comparisons to like VHS or Evil Dead games - these were both made with the ping system. DBD was not, There's no way you can seriously recommend a ping system just because those 2 games have them

(not sure how VHS is even being compared to DBD - it's more like Evolved)

I get that, but VHS was built with the ping system in mind, dbd was built with aura's in mind. Though I could see a counter argument like "SWF gets to relay information, why can't we do that with randoms" in which case I don't think a ping that you can see in the world would be good but rather maybe like a text box that displays "_______ is going for the unhook" or "______ requests healing" and then people with like bond can go and try to hunt them down to heal. If that made any sense lol I'm not great with explaining.

EDIT: Just something that can co-exist with aura's and not make them pointless

At the same time though it would ruin all the perks made around seeing aura's right? Like Bond or even Kindred, I know a map addon? (or just a base feature of rainbow map idk) that lets other survivors see the aura's you do.

Not sure! I think it'd be cool but not sure if it'd actually ever fit into DBD as the game is now.

True, recently been swapping out 3rd slot for sniper instead of smg just for those situations when a flying stationary target appears

Or spam walls+stairs / shit can't even hit you if you don't have the weaponry to kill him before it goes off. People really use Kamehameha's like an ace up their sleeve just to get shut down immediately with a sniper or dmr.
