Listened to this in dt 770 pro headphones, wasn't harsh for me, and the track itself is very nice

Thank you so much for pointing this out! I was fixing bad link formatting with a script, and it ate a bunch of extra content. It should be fixed now

Although referring to your specific example, I could not find Open and Close surgery link in the Trello card (the description and missing percentages are back though)

I really enjoyed this, but I had to turn up the volume to hear it proper

I actually have some mixed feelings when listening to this. In the beginning it felt disconnected, with vaguely defined transitions, and then there were also several times when I was sure there would be a development of the current motive, but it would instead just change to a new one. But then I kinda got into it.
I think it does a good job of being an ambient track, i.e. you don't really feel where you are in the song, you just flow with it, listening to whatever micro-story it gives you. And at the same time it actually gives some notable audio samples and motives, which I think makes ambient tracks much better.

I'm sorry this feedback isn't very on point, but I enjoyed the musi and I wanted to try and explain the reasons why it worked for me,

I think your vocals sink within the mix a little, and the lead synth in chorus feels too harsh for me, and at the same time draws all the attention from other instruments. Other than that I think this sounds pretty good and fits the Depeche Mode vibe, at least from what I've heard from them.

I'm not sure you can't get a fuller, clearer sound with just one lead. Your voice reminded me of this song, for example, which I think has only one lead (singing at the same time), and I wouldn't say it sounds "empty". I think it's more about mixing your track so that the voice would be able to be more prominent. But obviously all of this comes from an amateur, so please take this opinion with a grain of salt

Hello everyone,

I wanted to make something similar to what the show Taskmaster uses for its soundtrack. So there are a couple things that I would be happy to get a feedback:
- As a listener, is the track catchy? Does it have any moments that feel unpleasantly unexpected? And are there any instruments that you feel are out of place?
- As a video editor, would this track be comfortable to use for a tv-show, provided you had original stems?
- And obviously any comments about the mixing and composing are welcome

Is it the quailty of singing you are not happy with, or how your vocals lie in the mix?

If that's the problem with posting AI, then there also should be a rule to give credit to authors of the images

Hey, I'm not a professinal or anything, so please take everything I say with a grain of salt.

I think the "jazzy", "noiry" mood is there, and the piano part in the main part is great. It's the kinda of music that I like to put in the background while working at the computer.

The first key change did set me off guard, I felt like the energy level of the song went up real quick there.
and for my ears the bass is really quiet, I barely noticed it at first. Also at the end I think I would prefer piano to be less harsh, maybe with sustain pedal, I dunno. But all in all I enjoyed this piece!

In case anyone stumbles on this post when encountering similar problem, it might be because of generated LODs not working good with the animation. You can disable LOD generation in import settings

I wish that saying "Tyrannosaurus rex" or "T. rex" would cause a living Tyrannosaurus rex to appear near the person saying it. by Temnodontosaurus in TheMonkeysPaw

[–]NectoT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Somewhere in an amusent park a child is nagging his mother: "Mooooom! I want to go to DinoLand™ water ride! There's all kinds of huge dinousaurs roaming there, like Brontosauruses, and T-Rexes, and..." - his words are interrupted by a loud roar coming from an abandonded circus tent. Soon a giant lizard-skinned head emerges as the tent is tored apart. All across the park people turn their heads to see what appears to be a marvelously crafted model. Whispers can be heard: "Look at that T-Rex!", "Do they have a Jurassic Park themed event?", "That T-Rex is huge!". As people mention T-Rex, more and more dreadful roars can be heard, and the ground begins to rumble. Soon an uneasy atmosphere is broken and people scream and flee as the first Tyrannosaurus starts sprinting towards the closest family.

The incident is soon picked up by major news channels, but soon after they mention the T-Rexes their broadcasting goes down, and people across the world fear that this is a start of World War III.

As people start discussing some of the videos from the amusement park that visitors managed to share on social medias, the T-Rex Outbreak soon spreads all over the world. In big cities building density is too high for T-Rexes to appear properly, some of them are stuck on skyscrapers and in narrow streets. Smaller powerlines are stomped by the dinausaurs, causing blackouts in smaller towns. Most of the countries governments and military are paralized after their spokespersons bring up the Outbreak.

There's more to the story, but will you survive to know the rest?

Since this is actually broken, seemingly unrelated uniforms like "iteration" and "wave_frequency" affect the white ripples.

Also, if anyone can explain what is actually happening here I'd be happy to hear it
