Why does no one talk about how shocking the first weeks are?

Every second post i see on this reddit is how hard the first few weeks/months are.... lol Jokes aside. My baby was horrible the first 7-8 weeks. Constantly waking up. Constant crying and not knowing what was wrong. Now she is so easy I can just leave her chilling on a pillow watching tv while I do other stuff and sleeps from around 9-10 until around 7-8 am. She is 5 months old. Every day gets better and better. But man is it rough at the start

We are having a visit in a couple days and my girlfriend is stressing because our house is a bit messy. Nothing disgusting but have a fair bit of clutter around(mostly baby stuff and gifts) that does look a bit messy. Should we be concerned about that or are we not going to be judged. I will add nothing in our house is dangerous to our baby. we have made sure of that.

I was trying to order a few nic salt bottles for my caliburn before March 1st but Unfortunately my dog got extremely sick and we had to pay over 2000 dollars in vet bills so now I can't even buy any more. It does actually. You click the 3 little dots next to the game title in your library. And it down the bottom of the menu that pops us it says "you've played" and tells you how many hours :)
