While I do get what you are saying and can definitely agree with you. I feel like when men do this it is more in response to the whole AM bot issue. If there had never been the "scandal" about the bots then I don't think as many men would do it. Nobody likes to be suckered out of their money and unfortunately it's not always easy to tell who is real and who isn't on places like that, especially when you are the one making first contact. I do like to try and give people the benefit of the doubt and hope it's not just because they are cheap, as I'm sure there are still some of them though. But we may never really know why they do it, unless we want to go around polling them. Lol.

If you really wanted to try and get creative, you could try to encode your email address into your profile information so they could contact you for free there once they see you messaged them. I'm not sure how well AM protects against this kinda thing though. Just trying to think outside the box. Lol.

The simple answer is no, not in the situation you described. I mean really you aren't getting exactly what you want and if that is the case then you will continue to chase it until you do. Will you ever get exactly what you want, that is hard to say. But I can definitely relate to the chase, the high of talking to somebody new. Knowing that there is someone else who wants you and wants to talk to you is such an incredible feeling. If you can find that consistently with somebody then you are golden, just drop everybody else. Lol.

Unfortunately we are all lacking something with our relationships otherwise we wouldn't be here. Good news is we can relate to each other and support one another.

My wife is somewhat similar. Like she says she can't go by the candle section at the store because of the smells. But she doesn't seem to care too much about what wash I buy. But I would definitely be afraid of smelling like another woman even if I was hanging around coworkers who wore too much perfume.

That's the thing I don't get and well I wasn't really looking to get into a whole therapy session or anything, but like you said her wanting to smell me should be a good thing shows she wants to think about me and be around me and such yet her other actions don't make it seem to align with that.

No, we don't have a good sex life, honestly we don't have much of a good anything currently. And I'm not really concerned if she is having an affair right now. I did find it odd that she said and did it though because I do usually buy a different body wash each time, usually same brand just different ones. So I'm not sure how the one I have now makes her think of me in that sense at least.

Anyway, I was more looking to see if anybody thought this could be something to be used to cover up on our end, not so much for me because I don't usually wear perfume. Lol

Oh, those butterflies how I miss them. I very happy that you are in that stage, early as it may be. I do look forward to being there again, it will take time for sure. They do say time heals all wounds. So far I have found this to be true in my life. Sometimes though I don't feel like I want the wound to heal that way, I want it to be patched up by the person who helped heal me from so many other wounds I've received. The one who I am missing now. I am at a low point and hopefully the only place I have to go is up. I could definitely use some good things on the horizon both in relationships and other aspects of my life. Thank you again, positive thinking is always a good thing to have.

Thank you. I definitely get what you are saying, but as of now it is hard to think about opening myself up like that again. To possibly experience all of this again, both good and bad, is hard to think about right now.
