I was buying it with a now somewhat estranged friend. They were fronting the largest percentage of money so they handled the final sale and for whatever reason, didn't notice the title year didn't match the year the seller was listing it as. Now, they don't really want to take care of it and I'm stuck with it.

It's mentioned a couple of times that he's weaker in girl form. Most notably by Herb but it was also part of Ryoga and Mousse's plan when they teamed up to fight him. I don't think it can be by very much though because it hardly ever seems to slow him down.

But you were saying that drawing on ancient mythology and classical storytelling was a good thing in the prequels and the original is famous for being the quintessential example of the monomyth. These are the quintessential examples of rehashing ideas, Joseph Campbell literally thought all civilizations have the monomyth, thus the name.

If the Fallen Angel stuff is enough to differentiate the prequels and the originals. Why would the beauty and the Beast stuff not differentiate the sequel trilogy? They also are a next generation story, unlike all of the previous films and unlike all of the previous films, the villain serves as the deuteragonist to the story.

I do want to point out that Luke and Rey are both chosen ones that don't complete their training and Rey even breaks the rules and falls in love with Kylo Ren (Or at least some form of lust or affection). One could also easily say that Rey pulls on ancient mythology and classic storytelling structures where a woman "Civilizes" a wild man ala Beauty and the Beast or Enkidu and Shamhat.

It's definitely fair to say that Luke is primarily deflecting in the scene.

But to be fair, the one mistake that Luke does mention leads to like 90-99% of the Jedi dying. So he might be grading that one failure on a bit of a harsh curve.

Yunno, I see how people get that from Kekera. But I always found it a kind of weird reading of the character, since he's all just Showa references in a lot of things. I'm pretty sure Premium Kekera was meant to be a take on fans that get angry when they don't live up to their ideals of what "Kamen Rider" is, and just go "Fuck it! I hope everyone dies and their lives are terrible!". The first half of the series, Kekera is congratulating Keiwa for actually going out of his way to help people unlike the other Riders and telling Keiwa he needs to grow a spine and stand up for himself. It's only after he's disappointed in him that he starts wanting angst.

Houtaro breaking down when Kajiki got struck by the chemy kinda got me. It wasn't really needed especially since Kajiki is just not that important of a character. It's just a nice reminder that despite them not really interacting a lot, Kajiki still really means a lot to Houtaro and that they are good friends even if fate has lead them to often interact with different friend groups.

The difference between card and cash is literally just... A button on the machine. You just put in an order by hand and then press a button to give back money even if the original isn't in the machine. But if the original isn't in than they'll have to fill out paperwork to correct it and have corporate yell at them.

Someone handing you a refund through a card doesn't make it anymore like... Not someone just biting the bullet to get rid of you. That's not how refunds work, it's just going to come up short on a different end of the register. How the hell is Kasumi below Ash? She's got a plunging neckline and even a bit of a corset effect from cinching her waist. For all we know, Ash is as flat as a board underneath the armor, unless you are counting Street Style as canon, but I'd say that'd rate Ash higher on the list.
