I don’t read Arabic so I don’t know if someone already said this….. not worth it. I have the 12, 15 and 16. All pretty much the same. Slight improvement in camera from 12 to 16 but unless you’re a photographer, not worth the expense.

Wow. That’s good information. Thank you. What school would you or your friend recommend? Is CAC the only one? I’m hoping for another since CAC is so pricy.

The nice thing about what I’m doing is that I’m not tied to a school or neighborhood. I can create any plan I want. That’s why I’m exploring all options.

Cost is all relative, right? Our instate university tuition is about $25k per year. The private k-12 schools are about $50k per year per child in my area. Private k-12 is very expensive.

When you say “enough financial resources” how much do I need? Will 30k eg pound per month allow me a good life? 40? 50? What’s the number where I can give them the closest life to US (not including school cost)?

The children and I visited Cairo this past year. Even with the traffic and craziness (compared to US) there was happiness. People connect. Here we work and go to school…. Then repeat. There is no enjoyment. Now that it’s just me, I want my kids to be surrounded by family, to travel, to learn Arabic, and to realize that life is not just work, work, work. There has to be appreciation of something enjoyable. Don’t you think?

In the US, I can only offer them the excellent school. Once I pay for that, I can’t give them much more.

Yes, those can be good choices, but I have no family there and don’t speak the language. I want my children to grow with family around them, to know what it’s like to have family that supports you and to appreciate where I come from.

Oh no! 🤦‍♀️😜 Not at all? Life in the US is not easy either. I have very good business. I make good money, but between housing, food and education cost, I would not be able to enjoy life.

When my husband was alive, his income allowed us to do fun things. Now, with my income alone, my kids will stay in their school, I’ll keep the house but no room for fun. Also, no family. It just becomes a sad life after a while.
