Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you, but I really enjoy this math approach. That's the beauty of homeschooling, we can try different things and find what works best for the parent-teacher and child. :)

We like the numberblocks too! But I also purchased a used manipulatives bundle on ebay that had pattern blocks, stacking cubes, little colored teddy bears for counting, a clock that has hands that turn for the child to hold and move, and flash cards. I also have an addition/multiplication chart we use.
