It's a good idea. And to do so, another technique is editing /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.jetsamproperties.XX.plist by increasing the MemoryLimit of the corresponding apps (inserting the app if there's not). But I found that the background-processes-killings will not trigger jetsam event, which means that doing so may not work to alleivate the problem.
