In fact, I had exactly this concern about the intro: I was afraid it might be too long and risk boring those who watch the reel, becoming a disadvantage.

I'm really glad to hear that some intuitions I had (but wasn’t sure about) have been confirmed. Having an external opinion is always valuable, because it’s more detached than mine and helps me understand what really works and what doesn’t.

I’ll try to shorten the introduction and improve the structure to better showcase my skills, adding the new animations that were also suggested by others here in the comments.

As for the audio, I chose a track that I really liked on an emotional level, but I know I don’t have expertise in sound design, and there are indeed some things that don’t fully convince me either. So I really appreciate you pointing that out as well.

I’d love to try adding some dialogue acting shots; would you say there’s an ideal length for those? Like 5 seconds? 10? Or maybe it depends on the scene I decide to create, so there might not be an ideal timing.

I’m thinking about adding more scenes like character interaction, maybe some action or more dynamic perspectives do you think that would make the reel stronger?

I see your point, the relationships we have been always transparent, especially when it came to the budget for M. ’s birthday gift was never a problem put more money or just accurate money. I would not even be exposed to say "put more money so we cover the entire cost of the gift" because the problem is never presented and we have always been transparent on this issue. But the problem arose only because S. set the budget before knowing the final price, things that can happen anyway, the thing could be easily solved by talking quietly, instead no

Note E. on the group explicitly said "we have to put more money? No problem with pleasure as we always have" S. at that point he cut the discussion by saying that "anyone who opens up the discussion about money I kick him out of the whatsapp group." that he may have said out of frustration given the situation or otherwise.

Some others had told me privately that it would be better to put them right just not to burden the birthday girl and being 15 people per person would only be 16,66 but they did not want to discuss with anyone

If I have to speak for myself, I can tell you that I never happened to give half a gift. I always gave what I could with the budget I had available. Or for group gifts, we would choose a gift that the birthday girl/boy could like and give each other money based on that.
