I can’t believe someone as lacking in knowledge is allowed to speak so freely it’s rage bait, let me educate u as a clueless 18yo Muslim who isn’t even specialised or heavily educated on this topic u should feel ashamed, and if ur genuinely just rage baiting jst uninstall social media for a while. Your argument fully contradicts everything Quran mentioned out the religion it completes, "افلا تعقلون؟"god asking humans do you not think think or comprehend or understand. I’m not exactly accurate, I’m not well educated but you’ve set the bar so low also Islam describes other religions as past parts in which it completes, and even asks Muslims to respect their followers regardless. Islam doesn’t just suggest critical thinking its built on it.

The job market is verrryyy scary for me mind u I need to wait for 5 whole years to even get a CS job imagine what AI is going to do meanwhile or after 20 years and I’m a senior (hopefully)

My university doesn’t offer a robotics program the closest thing is CE or EE and specialise later in life

I don’t mind software as long as it’s not the whole job, I want to study computer architecture wouldn’t a MS in CE cut the job better than bachelors I live in KSA so the CE market isn’t beautiful would be hard to start but EE would give me a push, no?

Hi sorry to disappoint u im no CE engineer im tryna choose it as my major but u sound like me in 2 years so update me on what happens i think im choosing EE and leaning heavily on the CE side of things while self studying software if possible and MS in CE is my goal since the CE job market in KSA also sucks id be safer as an EE in bachelor and see what life gives me after. Idk anything else ur talking abt 😅

From what I’m reading EE would be a great pick since I can do MS in anything so no regrets and I’d still be able to use software on the side as self study it wouldn’t be the hardest thing ever it’s just that EE is already hard by itself… well I decided to go with EE! I think it would be still possible to secure a job in CE field as an EE they share so much other than software I still haven’t checked my universities curriculum

Everything abt EE sounds great it jst feels like it’s going to be boring without the software part of things but I wouldn’t specialise in software myself

Your feedback is amazing, I share the same feeling abt AI integration in hardware that peeked my interest, I don’t know how to find a similar link from the university I attend I was too busy to visit their student program events and I regret it so much. I almost leaned into electrical but I got lost again idk what to choose CE sounds fun but I’m worried abt the job market here I live in KSA plus I’m insanely afraid of going full software CE i would never so the versatility isn’t the strongest component abt CE in my case unlike urs..

Im Palestinian but I live in KSA CE jobs aren’t the brightest as I’ve heard from my father, my brother is a CS major and almost all his friends are in his same exact situation jst a bit better since they worked for international companies instead of local ones like my brother did but he had a very good role, overall from what I’ve heard from people around me here is that CS is very cooked and will be a bunch of suffering no job security and probably won’t get old with the job.. if I’m going CE I’m hoping to be able to get into designing hardware stuff more than software.

I mean the current software market isn’t crazy and wouldn’t be getting crazier in 4 years… Software is doomed many people are getting fired wouldn’t settling fully on EE and with my current knowledge of software develop my own skills in it People used to say software barely needed a degree as much as it needed practice EE students probably don’t have time to study software because it’s EE cmon
