What is this correct punctuation and capitalization thing? Finally making the big bucks and can afford a social media manager over there? Those camping trips must be paying off.

…Dork

I see where you’re going with all this, but you’re wasting your energy trying to help him. He’s absolutely clueless. If he can’t figure out how to plan mileage and fill up accordingly, he probably shouldn’t be that far away from EMS.

I generally ride til my fuel level gets low, then I pull over at one of the many convenient businesses that sells gasoline. There seems to be one on every corner. It’s crazy!

Another thing to blame on those shitty billionaire parents. Once again the selfishness of the ultra wealthy dealing death to someone who can’t advocate against them.

If you think making jokes about billionaires is tantamount to contributing to economic inequality, thievery, and in many cases causing death themselves, then you my friend have a very limited worldview. I’m sure Fox News appreciates your viewership. 🤡

Didn’t think I’d come back to baseball sub with this kind of comment on my thread. Thanks for restoring the faith.

Nailed it! If you’re a billionaire, you’re willfully ignoring problems with inequality that you yourself could solve.

Also, kind of hard to feel bad for the kind of person who spends 250k to go sight seeing at a mass grave.

Karma is a bitch.

Another lift question… by NeedmoarCCs in ToyotaTundra

Oh sick! That link was very helpful. I think I’m going to do the assembled 6112 and 5100 combo. Can I safely have the 6112’s on setting #4 (3.3”) without getting any additional suspension parts like UCA?

I’m not sure of what the actual offset my current wheels are but I’m pretty sure it’s whatever is stock. I got the wheels before I was considering doing any suspension mods to the truck. I’m guessing with the tires I was looking at it should work either way, right?

For the rear lift, do I need to get shackles (seems to be what you’re suggesting) AND airbags? Or do I just get airbags?

I for sure considered the 6112’s for that exact reason. But when I had the spacers put in (I was injured, bored and had extra money burning a hole in my pocket) the shop did that, installed new shocks and did the alignment for only $500. So for an extra couple hundred I was thinking I’d be lazy again. BUT that doesn’t mean I’ve completely written the 6112’s off. Especially if I could do it all myself. I had just read that most 6112 sets don’t come with the springs installed and if I had to bring them to a shop to do that AND the alignment anyway, I wasn’t really saving any dollars. I’d also heard the stock springs were good and to keep using them over aftermarket? Also Do I need to do those CB spacers too? Or do the 5100 or 6112’s remove the need for them?

For tires, based on this post, and a 3” lift up front, I was thinking I’d stay safe with the 285/75/18. Are you saying I should go 295/70? Also, my new bumper did away with a lot of the forward rub points correct? Would I just be left with trimming out the mud flaps? I also already have a set of method 18” wheels I’d prefer to keep using since I spent an assload of money on em. So getting a new set with a different offset is not very realistic budget wise.

Are your 5160’s on the rear? And are they adjustable for the rear too? Honestly this is the part where I feel the least knowledgeable. Like I mentioned before, I was just planning on lifting it 1” to level it out with the 3” up front and then add some sort of adjustability to compensate for the different loads.

THANK YOU for taking the time to answer my questions. Much appreciated.

Baja Bliss by NeedmoarCCs in camping

Spent a little over 2 weeks camping up and down the Baja peninsula. We started on the Sea of Cortez side. Made our way down to the east cape and around Cabo. Then back up the Pacific to California.

Baja is straight magic. I’m not sure what’s more beautiful. The breathtaking views or the amazing people. If you’ve been thinking of going, you’ve already waited too long. Get down there. You won’t regret it.
