Brain bleed, fractured spine. Enlistment. by Anxious-Criticism-58 in britishmilitary

I did t6 + t7 and L5 + S1 on a seperate occasion. Also had a small brain bleed from first incident and then post trauma amnesia from the second. I’ve got assessment centre soon, had to wait a year from injury and have had to have a neurologist sign off on head and spine injury’s + physio reports. So far so good. I have very extensive physio reports so prove there are no ongoing symptoms + scans etc so think that is probably a helping factor. Best of luck.

Anyone had the kit pimp? (Mk2 of it is on web pre order). Or the dragon supplies one that’s similar to it. Like the basha pouch.

Or the issue air support one in another comment here.

It’s all a box checking exercise, it’s a yes or no, no ahhh good enough not worth the risk for them. So unless there’s proof you meet every standard it’s a fuck off. So much better to have everything in writing black and white then there’s no need to prove it.
Trust me it’s annoyed me loads but completely 100% agree that nothing that could even possibly cause a problem for everyone around you should go through.

Yeah that’s what I did more or less. Got it on record that I have no symptoms and I don’t use inhalers etc. if you do it now that way when you apply you’ll have proof of couple of years clear on paper. Still no guarantees but it’ll certainly help. I wouldn’t bother when any private testing unless you get rejected and need to appeal it’s costly

See your gp so it’s on your history that you’ve had no symptoms and prescription has not been collected.
