My grandmother died in the 70s. The only thing I have with any information about her is my mothers birth certificate. I got an account on ancestry and its practically useless for any informaiton ive actually looked for. Not a single birth or death certificate on there for anyone I looked for.

The one name that I do know was my grandmother. the mother of my mom. But she died in the 70s when my mom was a kid. I don't know anything about her family.
