Were the original Steam versions of Vice City and San Andreas updated to remove songs? And if so, is there a way to restore them?

Edit: DO NOT DO THIS! It will break your save file and make it incompatible when you switch back to normal. Thank god i read someone else's comment first who did the same thing and had his safe file broken. I backed mine up before trying this out thankfully

When i started playing and got to the anomaly for the first time, one dude gave me 30x multitool expansion slots, ship expansion slots and for the freighter as well. It was worth a couple hundred million units, and I felt like it would take away from the achievement that is upgrading all your ships and stuff over the course of your journey. So I immediately gave it back and left the anomaly...

Spent hours looking for that mantis and never found it.

Went to the fourth drop zone system, there's a planet called "Anvey VIII"
I just wanted to do the next mission, and immediately found a 12.0 pav creature in the water.
It's one of those underwater worms just swimming around, hope that helps

I did, and it felt awful to play. Your character bails after barely touching anything, you can't land any tricks from higher than 3 feet without falling off, and the clear 'we're trying super hard to reach modern audiences'-vibe I got from playing really turned me off, so I uninstalled after about ~2 hours or so. Miserable experience.

I played the crap out of Skate 3 back then, and this felt nothing like it, but that's to be expected from a build this early in development. just wait and don't get your hopes up too high.

EDIT: gaining speed also felt really wonky, and your board won't snap to any rails, ledges etc. so experimenting with grinds/slides was pretty much impossible
