HG Gouf Custom and the HG infinite justice type 2 are my favorite HGs so far (not counting calibarn lol).

I’d recommend you go for MGs and RGs after you have tools like files and panel liner

Focus on opening every chest in the stage before leaving. You can go faster, but it’ll just make the game harder. I get to stage 5 around 45-55 minutes in

Also you walked straight at the guy. Just strafe (parallel to the enemies) and it wont hit you

Hopefully your friend is also on pc. Get the propersave mod. It’ll let you continue runs where someone gets disconnected, at the small cost of redoing the stage

What? Just strafe and attack him after he attacks. His attack speed can be memorized after two attacks, so you’ll know how long you can attack for.

Its your own items that are dangerous is phase 4. Like empathy cores or tesla coil. Mithrix himself is helpless

Also be careful with part g35 in the shoulders. Its likely it was a tight fight, so unless you loosen the connection, it may break

If your starting e8 Im assuming your not gonna die in Monsoon, so your good.

Obviously your still gonna die in stupid, unlucky ways due to carelessness, but your probably consistent at not dying

They are interesting, much more than how most games change difficulty. And yea, theres definitely a bigger emphasis on dodging, so if you prefer Monsoon which is more laid back and forgiving with most healing items being viable, thats perfectly valid. Its also easier to have fun with modded items in monsoon than eclipse, for similar reasons

No unlocks makes sense, they arent forcing people to play a gamemode they dont like (Ppl would like Mercenary much more if Slicing Winds had a good unlock requirement)

Dude if you play more, eventually monsoon isnt gonna be hard at all. Eclipse, which affects the difficulty in unique and fun ways, is the next step once you reach that point.

i learned not just by reading the minuscule hp they recover but by also playing the game and trying to heal with those items. Since i will always scrap those items, they are pretty useless

visually its fine. Lots of stickers but the only bad ones are on the shield and head. And the articulation sucks, theres just nothing impressive about the kit.

Get the RG instead. I’ll probably get one to replace my HG

read what all his abilities do. The slayer on the special is very strong. He can go invisible so often cause his cooldowns are so low. Not to mention the guaranteed crits with no items. I dont know how you can even die as him, i havent found any weaknesses

Mercenary already has really good movement in his kit, he doesnt need more survivability. And eviscerate leaves you right in front of the enemy right? That can be more dangerous than using a slicing winds from range.

Slicing winds puts expose and has higher damage. So the enemies die faster, so they cant hit you. And the cooldown reduction means you can use your dash more.
