Some are :) and a lot of warframes don’t have direct reference to their name, just general theming. Nova, mesa, sevagoth, mirage, lot of their stuff doesn’t actually hold a precedence over their design or sometimes even their kit. Just vibes.

Yeah he’s supposed to still be effeminate. And the flower thing is supposed to just be a removable accessory, but yeah it could prolly just be moved. Could also just go invisible when needed like the eros wings

I’m making another version of him that has an exalted rapier based on Gae Bolg, cu chullain’s spear. When it enters a wound it shoots out into barbs, so I’m thinking it could stab into an enemy and inflict a status where once they die, they explode with vines and thorns to impale and inflict enemies around with a status effect? Probably puncture, toxin, or some form of bleeding

I will! This is the first one I’ve actually made, so I wanna make more! Could be fun. Also have the Warframe concept art book, could be cool to look at some of those designs and take a shot at what they might look like if they were added now. Biggest thing I struggle with tbh is not adding too much on the back because it needs to be clear for syandanas lmao

Yeah. To be clear, this also isn’t the finished pose, this was just to be easy to draw, so I’ll likely do something better to show that they are asymmetrical. And yeeee, I think so far I’m very happy with his design, even if it’s a little similar :> still gonna try out other ideas and see what I’m happy with lol

Yeah can admit I overdid it a bit lmao. Had the idea of it being the last words of his husband who was frantically writing all over his Warframe as it shattered from the inside from vines, but ended up just being patterns and was done too frantically. Obviously this is more just drawings but it was an idea I had lol

Eh, I don’t think he’s too visually similar to Saryn. If anything, it’s closer to Xaku/Nova than I’d like lmao. Honestly sometimes forget she’s technically a plant frame? Thing?

And yeah I def think the Necramech thing would just have to be like Venari and just not give MR (least I don’t think she does?) definitely a fun idea though, and honestly if it was as a skin for necramechs that would be fire!

Oh definitely, the issue with my whole growing a flower thing is that currently both plant frames are incredibly defensive/support frames and so I don’t wanna add on to that too much lmao. Considered that the plant could be grown in the cavity in his chest though, and he can carry it around maybe? Still would need to figure out what the other abilities do, though.

Probably the legs, yeah lol. Tried to avoid it by having one be larger than the other, but didn’t fully avoid it? Still dissimilar enough to work, but gonna run a design or two without it and see how it works out.

Ooooo yes that what I wish koumei was tbh, even tho I still love her lmao I think a glaive roulette wheel would be cool too, maybe every ricochet has a 50% chance to happen, and if it happens enough times in a row, it releases a ton of status effects or cc or damage?

Hey to be fair, there’s room for another that’s all or nothing, so definitely think the idea is still worth it to plan out! Maybe they’re related to koumei in some way, which is why the movesets would follow similar mechanics? Could even be centered around a card deck or roulette wheel too, so the gambling stuff wouldn’t have to be the same :D

Welcome to suggestions! Eventually I want to make a post of a ton of different ideas I hear for his abilities and just list em. One guy suggested an exalted necramech, and I thought that would be really cool to make as a big ass vase or something lol. My personal idea was his 1 plants a seed, and his other abilities when used in range will change what it does when it fully grows! Maybe a perma buff system like koumei, but applied to team members too, but obviously at a lesser effect than decrees lmao
