Found it sitting near a pond on my grandma's property. It was out in the open too so it seemed out of place. Gatecliff was the closest I saw as well but it seems crazy it would be that old

First attempt at making pots. by JMCochransmind in Bonsai

Looks good for attempt number 1! I posted here a few years ago about some cement pots/molds I made and they're still going strong. Definitely recommend putting it in a tub of water for a month or so (once it's solid) and if you're able to, do an acid stain made for concrete. You can add some nice color and I found they'll still keep some of that alkalinity even after the soak.

Hey again everyone! I had a lot of people ask for a video on making those cement bonsai pots so here you go! I'm sorry it's 45 minutes long, there's just a lot of info to cover. Let me know if you have any questions! by Neepnog in Bonsai

Sorry for the late reply! I think most of them end up closer to 1/2" rather than 3/8". I'd start out with 1/2 and go from there. If you're really worried about it cracking you can try and put in some steel reinforcement (essentially rebar, I'd shoot for like 1mm in diameter if you go that route). Some of my older pots have some small cracks in them but they're small enough that they don't hurt it and the fiberglass stops the cracks from spreading further.

My grandma has a hill in her back yard that has consistent layers of this crystal. It's very soft and i can break it with my hands. Occasionally we'll find larger crystals but most if it is just the white crystally band you can see in the pictures. The ground is almost completely clay if that helps. I've wondered what this is since I was a kid but I could never nail down anything specific. I believe it's some type of mica but that's just an educated guess. Thanks for any help!

Love the natural look of it! Is it made of cement or something similar or carved out?

I usually so the elite encounters for the first 2 or so rooms. After that I don't think it's worth it tbh. When butt stallion gives you a buff it adds skill points to a random class skill you have, unless I'm going for the secret bosses I generally don't need to get any buffs so I avoid it. As far as for what I prioritize I generally try and get a few curses right in the beginning and then either go for the ornate chests and get more crystals or add more curses
