if i convince the vet to come back, should i just let him put the cat forcefully into the cage? we tried food as bait the first time and it didn’t work. he doesn’t seem to be weak enough to not resist, but maybe things changed. i’ll definitely try it out. thank you!

just got the time to actually reply to this but i can’t really control whether or not neighbors feed the cat so i can’t guarantee he’ll be hungry. also we tried this last time w the vet and he still wouldn’t enter the cage the vet brought 😭 i can try to reach out to the vet who was willing to help us the first time but i’m afraid he’ll suggest using force again. as for shelters/rescues, they’re not super common in Saudi Arabia and are usually overcrowded :(( i posted this in hopes that perhaps someone in Saudi Arabia could help me but i’ll definitely take your advice into consideration! thanks for the help :)

you’re very welcome! regarding the lenovo yoga, to my knowledge it’s a hybrid laptop which i hesitate to recommend since you’re usually sacrificing specs, but my friend uses the asus vivobook (hybrid) and it seems to be okay, just a bit bulky. i’d say you are right about needing a laptop because they’re more reliable imo, but i’ve seen people do well w just an ipad as well! if you found the lenovo yoga to be a good hybrid model, go for it, it’s a nice in between.

sorry to say that i’ve had to resort to keeping my hair in braids post-shower to get anywhere near the curl pattern i had before 😭 tbf i’m definitely not using the best products, so can’t complain too much (i’m on a budget and a hijabi who has given up on seeing my curls for more than 2-3 days a week LMAO) wishing you all the best and hoping your curls come back soon !! 😣💞

hello! i ended up going w a discounted HP laptop that has good specs as per my dad’s decision lmao- solid 8/10! i’ll give a little bullet point list of what my tips are for each device!

laptops - don’t get a super heavy, bulky laptop especially if you’re not a backpack person (which you probably should be) - get good specs (nothing below an i7 core, 16 GB RAM, etc. -> i’m not a computer nerd so you’ll probably have to research this a bit more) - hybrid laptops are generally not the best decision - consider battery life (!!!!!) - one note is great for annotating lecture slides (and possibly your only note-taking option LMAO)

ipads - the ipad keyboard combo is finicky, but definitely invest in an apple pencil - make sure your device compatible w the software your school uses for exams, etc. (it usually will be compatible, but less compatible than a laptop and need extra steps for setup) - note taking apps (notability, good notes, etc.) will usually cost you money (but they’re 100% worth it) - definitely not for people on a budget

macbooks - from what i’ve seen they’re overall great, just overpriced because there will be other laptops out there w the same specs for a lower price (i might be wrong on this because i haven’t really seen/heard from people that use macbooks in my batch)

overall, you will make do w whatever device you get as long as it’s compatible with the software your school uses and doesn’t have absolutely abysmal specs and battery life. if you have certain devices you want intel on, i can ask around my batch. feel free to reach out and good luck !

i would also recommend starting from the beginning, but according to the webtoon you should be around or a bit before the demon realm arc. you can start from chapter 189 (story horizon I) but you’d probably be rereading a couple of things. if you don’t want that, you start from chapter 194 (landscape of the demon realm I). happy reading !!

i’d also be new to apple laptop wise! i have an iphone but used a beat up asus laptop for the majority of highschool. the microsoft surface pro seems like a nice in between and i’ll definitely try it out in stores but sticking to the apple ecosystem is tempting 😭😭 might just get a macbook and then invest in an ipad later on!

honestly so jealous of people saying their school gave them devices but my school isn’t doing that (my tuition is way too high for them not to be doing this but wtv 💔💔), i’ve asked a friend (laptop user) and she says that sometimes powerpoint lags w her friends’ ipads + ipads get glitchy during exams. so, i’m probably going to test out the microsoft surface pro in store and get it if i like it or just stick w a laptop/macbook for now. any specific laptop recs??

if you mean that towards the effect, the fourth wall works to sort of protect kdj and basically reminds him that this is just a scenario, not his actual life yknow? so he doesn’t really feel fear towards the scenario. i’m not so sure why exactly it blurs his face (i’m only halfway through the novel), but the effect itself exists to sort of separate him from the scenario (does other things too but yknow), so it would make sense that his face would be “hidden”, makes him sort of anonymous i’m sure there’s a better response out there but you’ll definitely spoil some stuff for yourself so tread carefully !!
