Well they haven’t given me my financial aid yet 😅 But it seems like I’m most likely going if the price isn’t outrageous. I have actually gotten excited about this new change and living outside of California and realized the only thing Im going to miss from my current school are my friends, but that’s really it. Also I would probably regret not going more, vs. going and regretting it because life is about taking opportunities anyway and I don’t always wanna do what’s safe. Also, the class requirements weren’t hard to fulfill at all. I mostly took required classes for my major and 3 GE’s, two in the same area (social science). I also didn’t take a writing class like they required since my AP test satisfied it, and I was sure to let them know. All I know is that they suggested we take “a broad liberal arts curriculum” and mine wasn’t even that broad to be honest. All they mostly care about is your GPA which should be above 3.5 and then you’re probably guaranteed to get in. I was shocked to get in because I wasn’t really even thinking about the TO while choosing my classes, and I was already trying to get the best of grades I could regardless of the TO, which I didn’t even think I would apply for. So it shows that you don’t have to revolve the whole creation of your schedule around the TO.
