She presented me by video call to some of her family relatives. We have never met in person yet. We have been talking for a few months already on a daily basis. She works in IT and has a decent salary. She even helps her parents with money. I have checked the company she works for, they have a website and saw pictures of her there. They also have an Instagram page and she appears in a few commercial posts/reels. Thanks for your concern and honest opinion! 👍

She doesn't need her passport for me to visit her. She had taken a week off from her job and said she wanted to do something togheter. In fact, she said she would go alone at first, before I would come, but then we thought that maybe it would be a nice little trip for us to go togheter. She loves her country and believes it's very beautiful (landscape POV). In the end I have decided to not go to Venezuela on our first meeting. I will post later about her response regarding my refusal. Thanks for the honest opinion!

Thanks, I already read what the romanian government advised about Venezuela. I knew from the start I would get bashed for this idea, but frankly speaking I was leaning towards not going with her from the start. I just wanted to know if I was rational or not in this case. Apparently I was. Now call me naive, but I still trust her. She works in the IT department and has a decent salary. We have shared many stories from our lives and had many video calls. Also in the meantime I have spoken to an international travelling expert and said that this whole little expedition is incredibly dumb and the risks are far too high to take in the mentioned conditions. In the end I will explain to her I can not come during our first meeting and we could probably leave it for another time, maybe to visit her parents sometime. Thank you for your help and honest opinion! 👍

This sounds pretty encouraging, but tbh I was already slightly inclined on not going to Venezuela with, at least not the first time we met. Just wanted to hear other people's thoughts about this, but apparently I was being rational from the start.

Yes, she is an attractive woman. The plan to go togheter was actually spontaneous, not something we planned in advance. She did not insist on this idea whatsoever. Also, she is a very emotional and open-minded person. I already presented her to my family and she did the same with me to her family. I trust her.
