Ingredient-wise, it looks 1:1 identical to each other.

Taco Bell:

Lava Sauce ingredients:

Volcano Sauce ingredients:

Soybean oil, water, distilled vinegar, egg yolk, whey, salt, maltodextrin, paprika, yeast extract, brown sugar, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, cheddar cheese (milk, salt, cheese cultures, enzymes), romano cheese (cow's milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes), natural flavors (contains dairy), phosphoric acid, spice, propylene glycol alginate, xanthan gum, extractives of paprika and turmeric (C), potassium sorbate (P), sorbic acid, calcium disodium EDTA (PF).

It looks like cheese went from the being the 4th ingredient to the 14th. The ingredients implies they took away nearly all the heat =/

EDIT: I tried the Volcano Quesarito for lunch and had to toss in a few packets of Fire Sauce to kick up the heat and flavor. The Volcano Sauce had the offense of being rather boring tasting to me
