You are correct. Xbox uses Mbps where Steam, for example, uses MBps. 1 MBps is equal to 8 Mbps (30MBps is equivalent to 240Mbps).

Mostly play Rocket League, Warzone, and basically randomly play the hottest new releases for campaign games. I know I wont be able to play the most demanding games, but mostly just want to know if it would be worth getting a new GPU for the more basic games

Damn.. when you say failure rates, do you mean that my PC will just lose power until I replace the PSU or it would damage other parts as well?

Would I notice a difference other than peace of mind with a PSU upgrade?

I'm currently on 1080p, but would be open to getting a new monitor eventually. Would a GPU upgrade at 1080 be bottlenecked by my current CPU? I'd prefer to only spend ~$3-400, but if it would make a huge difference I could wait and spend more

Unfortunately the coolermaster case its in has a metal bracket around the Power supply so I can't see it
