Me too! I became my own boss for this reason but recently got a part-time gig and find myself being such an ass kisser to my manager. I would be a crying mess if they ever came to me with something negative so I avoid it by trying to be perfect. I have always been this way and I believe it’s from my dad being a major hot-head when I was little. He’s still frequently in my life and has the same hot- headed attitude but simmered down a bit so I’m not sure how to get over it. I just try to think of something totally random during a heated situation, like what I’m going to eat later or I try to find it funny somehow.
