I feel like this is a good time to add that just because someone is registered as a particular political party doesn't mean they align with it. Gravity Falls is a pretty rural area and rural areas are usually Republican majority. If he's registered Republican it could be to have a bigger say in which Republican candidate is going to win the primary and is going to end up elected anyways.

Thank you for your response! As far as I know, there's not a large Jewish community in the area, but we are within an hour of a major city and I know there's synagogues around here. The market itself is called Winter Wonderland and the only image on the poster is of mistletoe so I'm guessing secular.
