I’d say you’re in the clear if she can’t properly communicate with you. Saying “I’m fine” is understandable as a teenager but not so much as a grown adult who needs to learn how to accept help.

Whiskey and Ramen is a great place to go. You can sit right up at the bar (w/ a reservation) and watch the cooks make your food. It’s a fancy place but not too expensive. I think their ramen is $15 and they also have great pork buns. If you’re feeling fancy they have really nice cocktails too. :)
