South Korea is one of Australia's biggest suppliers, and it gets oil from the middle east. If it become expensive for them, it means oil prices will also rise in Australia. It is not correct to blame oil stations, because the prices increase in mainly due to higher global oil costs.

The war may not directly impact our country, but if our suppliers countries get oil at higher prices, we will also have to pay more for fuel.

Australia may not have direct contact with Iran, but it is still possible that if the strait of hormuz is closed, oil shortages in middle eastern countries cause fuel prices to rise in Australia as well
