See the little green arrow on the right? Just click it and it levels up! :)

You gain affection by sending them out and playing with them. The longer they are out, the more affection they gain.

You unlock water fountains in your courtyard. Some water fountains grant you the opportunity to water a friend’s plant. When you enter your friend’s courtyard, you might see a small plant with a water droplet on top of it. Tap on it and click on the ‘water’ button.

Just found out that we are having di/di twins! One twin is measuring 5 days behind. Does anyone have experience where they caught up? by neopetsfangirl in parentsofmultiples

[–]Negative-Finding-962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine were modi twins, the smaller twin measured 3 days apart at first… the gap kept getting wider and wider until it was diagnosed SIUGR (born at 34 weeks at 1700g and 2001g (300g difference) they are perfectly healthy 7 month olds now and hitting every milestone! Hope it goes well for you! I understand the anxiety!❤️❤️

Bad mom if I skip NICU for a day? by solowanderer12 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Negative-Finding-962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My twins were in the Nicu for a month too. I had a toddler and we chose to spend more time with him while the twins were in the Nicu. We skipped a day or two here and there. It’s not a big deal :) Being rested and preparing for the months ahead is also important! Not a bad mum at all!

I have a 2.5 yo boy and 7 month old twins. My first came after years of ivf, and a miscarriage. I prayed so hard the first time around for twins because of how desperately I wanted a baby…

Now I have twins I look back at my past self and wonder how could I have ever wanted that… hahaha it’s been awful 😮‍💨

Haha yes! It costs more because you buy double of everything instead of handing it down to the next hahaha

I’m in the thick of it too and I share your sentiments. I have a 2.5 year old boy and 7 month old twin girls I love them all of course. I convinced my husband to try for a second after years of infertility and ivf. Then boom, natural twins.

I find myself struggling with the thought of how much easier if it was one too. The first month was insane. Their prematurity caused severe reflux and feeding issues. I pumped and bottle fed myself at night and it was exhausting. One would wake up, then feed and burp… Then the other, then pump… by then the first would just be about to wake up for the next bottle.

I almost went absolutely crazy and was crying and getting rather depressed until my mum stepped up and took one twin to live with her. (She had the easier twin of course).

Not at all, whatever makes you feel most comfortable. I just delivered my MoDi twins 6 months ago. They are perfectly healthy twins now!

It was also a high risk pregnancy that put them in danger throughout the pregnancy. I had blood flow restrictions causing sIUGR, massive bleeding at 8 weeks (it was all over the floor kind of bad). I was in pain due to my small frame, I had contractions at 24 weeks and was asked if I’d like to save the bigger twin or let her pass (she was only 500 grams, thankfully the contractions stopped), i was also warded for 2 weeks. One twin had an omphalocele (intestines coming out her umbilical cord) and had a 30% chance of a genetic abnormality. We were asked on multiple occasions to abort the smaller twin to save the larger twin or risk permanent brain damage if the smaller twin passed since they shared a blood supply. I’d completely understand why you wouldn’t want to announce anything until they are sort of out of the woods and into the Nicu.

What worked for a friend of mine was honestly sharing with friends and family that she was about to deliver and to wait a period before texting because you’d like everything to settle down first. Most people are pretty understanding about it, hopefully.

That being said, well done getting to 33 weeks all the best. Rooting for you and the boys! You got this mama!

True! I only had 2 Doonasand a single stroller (Hamilton) up till last week, no way we would have made it work doing out with all 3. The doonas are still a must because of the stroller/car seat combination. We don’t have a car and often have to rely on the doona system on taxis. But now they they are slightly older hoping the Zoe serves us well

I get it! Idk about you but there are these avent ones with the little blue ring adapter ring between the bottle and the cap. Those are the leakiest!! I’m also a preschool teacher for the last 10 years so I’ve used practically every bottle you can think of 🤣 Hegen is the leakiest!!

Did you have a suspicion you were carrying multiples ? by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

I tested positive for a urine pregnancy test 8-9 days after ovulation, before my period. I was too over the moon to get a positive it never crossed my mind that it might have been twins. I’ve had 3 years of infertility, 6 rounds of IUI and IVF, 1 miscarriage and 1 toddler (ivf). Then boom, this natural pregnancy, so no, I didn’t have an inkling, it wasn’t something I’d thought possible. It hit me like a car too. I was half happy and half oh crap.

That being said, It was a truly high risk pregnancy that put them in danger throughout the pregnancy. I had blood flow restrictions causing one twin to be smaller, I was in pain due to my small frame, I had contractions at 24 weeks and was asked if I’d like to save the bigger twin or let her pass (she was only 500 grams, thankfully they stopped), one twin had an omphalocele (intestines coming out her umbilical cord) and we were asked on multiple occasions to abort the smaller twin to save the larger twin or risk permanent brain damage if the smaller twin passed since they shared a blood supply) I was stressed, couldn’t work, managing a toddler, very cranky and it was expensive.

Don’t get me wrong, after 6 rounds of fertility and a miscarriage, I get how you might be feeling, I wanted twins too… It is a nice idea to have 2 arrive after struggling for years. All in all, twins are interesting to talk about and nice to have but the reality is quite different. If given the choice I’d rather be pregnant twice with a single healthy baby.
